La Première Entrée

It is a beautiful October day in sunny El Paso!  I am thrilled to be alive.

To be alive in Christ and know his mercy and grace. 

It is crucial for you to know that I am nuts about Jesus.  Yes, the same Jesus labeled a prophet, a teacher, a radical, and only son of God.  I also know him as all those names and titles, but as of the last 7 years I am blessed to call him Savior, Father, and the One Who Sees Me. 

A born-again Christian, placing her complete trust in Jesus Christ, and having a relationship with the Lord of Lord and King of Kings is who I am.

Some of you will be confused by my desire to speak of my faith.  Some of you will find it refreshing.  Others will be utterly repulsed.  While yet others will not have a care in the world what my faith is.

I on the other hand am delighted to speak so openly about my saving faith.  About the one and only living god, and about the new creation I am in Christ.

It is as a result of this ongoing transformation that I am who and where I am today.  To not speak of it, is to deny my encounter with God and his evidence in my life.  Everything I do: being a mother, a wife, a caretaker, a friend, a daughter, a sister, an employee, an employer...revolves around my relationship with God. 

This is my first attempt to bloom where I am planted as a work-at-home mom.
